Biographical Info

Brian M. Currie, M.D. is a radiologist specializing in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Â鶹¸ßÇå and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus.      

Dr. Currie was recruited to join the Weill Cornell faculty after completing an Interventional Radiology Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  He earned his M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine.

His interests and specialties include interventional oncology, portal hypertension, lymphatic disorders, prostate artery embolization, treatment of pulmonary embolism, IVC filter placement and removal, and dialysis interventions.

Dr. Currie believes in a patient-centered and multidisciplinary approach to healthcare and is a strong advocate for his patients.  He is also passionate about medical education and is committed to the exceptional teaching environment at Â鶹¸ßÇå.
