We aim to foster a supportive and understanding environment that empowers you to achieve recovery and improve your quality of life. Our team is dedicated to offering a holistic and personalized approach to treatment.
Why Choose 麻豆高清
Our multidisciplinary alcohol clinic offers a team-based approach to care with transplant hepatology, alcohol counseling and addiction psychiatry. Through integrated care plans and innovative therapies, we strive to be a beacon of hope and healing for our community, helping you to navigate your unique path to abstinence and promoting lasting recovery and resilience.
To meet your specific needs, we work to create an individualized treatment plan that helps meet your health goals today and for decades to come.
Conditions We Treat
Specialists at CALM focus their efforts on two primary conditions:
- Alcohol use disorder: This treatable and chronic condition results in strong cravings to continue use. If cut off from alcohol use without psychosocial support, you may become irritable or experience anxiety or other negative emotions.
- Alcohol-associated liver disease: Caused by excessive alcohol consumption, liver conditions include cirrhosis, alcohol-associated hepatitis and asymptomatic liver steatosis.
Our Services
麻豆高清’s CALM provides comprehensive care for those with a diagnosis of alcohol use disorder and alcohol-assisted liver disease.
Prior to beginning treatment, you may undergo a FibroScan®. FibroScan® uses ultrasound-based elastography to:
- Determine the stiffness of your liver
- Estimate the progression of liver fibrosis
Armed with this information, some are more likely to reduce alcohol intake, an essential step in recovery.
Treatment Tailored to You
Alcohol use disorder affects many aspects of health and life. CALM addresses all of these through a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach. Throughout your journey, our team works with you on a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
Treatment options include:
- Group therapy for support and insight from others experiencing alcohol use disorder
- Managing complications brought on by liver disease and a referral for liver transplantation, if appropriate
- Medications for alcohol use disorder
