Personal Statement

Kathlyne Purrini, MSN, CPNP, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with the Pediatric Otolaryngology Department and serves as the Program Coordinator for Weill Cornell's Pediatric Craniofacial and Aerodigestive Teams. Kathlyne earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and her Master of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University, graduating with honors from both institutions. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Kathlyne worked as a registered nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Â鶹¸ßÇå in the Pediatric Step-Down Unit.  

Weill Cornell's multidisciplinary teams provide a wide range of care to children with complex medical problems. Kathlyne provides compassionate and high-quality care for her patients. She encourages families to take part in their child's treatment plan and enjoys educating and empowering them throughout the process.
