Biographical Info

 Dr. Michelle Cohen is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Weill Cornell Medical College. Her clinical practice encompasses general gastroenterology with a focus on functional gastrointestinal disorders, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and women’s gastrointestinal health.      

Dr. Cohen received her undergraduate degree with honors from New York University. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr.Cohen completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center. She subsequently completed fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Cohen is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
