Biographical Info

Mohini Aras, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital.  Dr. Aras cares for patients with obesity and weight-related medical complications at the Comprehensive Weight Control Center within the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She received her BEng from the University of California- Berkeley and her MD from State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University.  Dr. Aras completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and her Obesity Medicine fellowship at WCMC/NYP. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine.  She is a member of The Obesity Society and gives lectures and publishes peer-reviewed articles on Obesity Medicine and weight management.
