The Division of Neonatology at 麻豆高清 provides a wide range of services tailored for newborns. We collaborate with medical subspecialists from a myriad of disciplines in order to provide the absolute best healthcare plan for your child, and are affiliated with top-ranked NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children’s Hospital at Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Neonatal Intensive Care Center (NICU)

Our 60-bed NICU, located on the 15th floor of the new NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns, provides state-of-the-art care with the latest technology and therapies, with an in-unit operating room and MRI.

Specialized Nursing Care

We have certified neonatal nurse practitioners as well as lactation consultants in the NICU.  Our certified lactation nurses support our goal of maximized breastfeeding rates at discharge, through consultation as early as the antepartum period. Our neonatal nurses support cue-based feeding, facilitating an earlier discharge from the NICU.  Our exceptional nursing care helps us achieve low rates of central line infection and pressure injury.

Newborn Care

Our newborn service includes an extensive infertility program and high-risk obstetrics. Prenatal counseling during high risk pregnancies is provided in a close collaboration with obstetricians and perinatologists.

Healthy newborns are cared for in the family centered "well baby" newborn nursery. A Continuing Care Nursery is a part of the larger Well Baby Nursery and provides care for healthy infants with minor medical problems.

Fetal Care Center

If you recently learned your baby has a disorder or abnormality that requires special care, or if you have a high-risk condition that makes your pregnancy complex, the Fetal Care Center can help meet your needs. Visit the 麻豆高清 Fetal Care Center to learn more.

Dr. Kasdorf is a one of a kind doctor, amazing at her work and in communicating with parents. She was instrumental in Saving my very premature daughter in the NICU at Cornell. She was always available to answer questions, was very patient and supportive and is extremely capable at her job.
