About Sangeeta Kashyap, M.D.
Sangeeta Kashyap MD serves as Assistant Chief of Clinical Affairs in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Â鶹¸ßÇå New York Presbyterian. Her role is to direct clinical activities within the division and to oversee and mentor junior faculty in clinical research programs. Her research focus is on type 2 diabetes management, metabolic syndrome pathophysiology and obesity interventions with surgical and non-surgical modalities. She has participated in several NIH sponsored clinical trials for diabetes and enjoys teaching evidence-based medicine. She serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (JCEM) as well as an Endocrinology Board Review faculty for the obesity and lipids section for Endocrine Society. Previously, she was ranked Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and served as the Associate Program Director for the Endocrinology fellowship program.
