About William Johnson, M.D.
William Johnson, MD, is a board certified interventional radiologist with additional certification in diagnostic radiology. He is an assistant professor of clinical radiology and an assistant attending radiologist primarily based at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, Brooklyn, which is a member hospital of the New York Presbyterian/Â鶹¸ßÇå hospital network.
Dr. Johnson completed his diagnostic radiology residency with early specialization in interventional radiology at Tufts Medical Center, where he served as chief resident from 2018-2019. He then completed his interventional radiology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He graduated from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, in 2014.
Dr. Johnson has experience across the gamut of image guided procedures for both diagnostic purposes and therapeutic benefit. He has particular interest and expertise in interventional oncology, women's health, including uterine fibroid embolization, genitourinary disease, hepatobiliary disease, vascular access and complex image-guided biopsies. Dr. Johnson is passionate about providing high-quality, tailored care to all his patients.
